I came to know Jennica because she works with my husband at Washington County EMS. She is currently in the middle of paramedic school, and I remember that phase all to well with Ricky. All of the studying and doing clinical rotations, and Jennica is having to plan her wedding on top of all that. I'm exhausted just thinking about it. But somehow, she carved out time for engagement photos, and I am SO glad. I love to work with my couples before their wedding day, so that we can get to know each other. Added bonus: After spending an hour listening to me say "put your bellybutton on his hipbone" and "tilt your heads toward each other", they will be professional models on their wedding day.
This was our second try at an engagement session, as we were rained out the week prior (hailed out is more accurate). But I am actually really glad we waited. For one, the bluebonnets were out! And also, it was literally the PERFECT weather for a shoot. It was cloudy and windy all day long, and so it was a very comfortable temperature. Then during the last 30 minutes of our time together, the clouds completely broke and the sun came shining down at the perfect angle to give them that golden hour glow that I love. Jennica and Cameron probably thought I was a bit silly for how excited I got about the light, but take a look below and you will see why!
