I have been anxiously awaiting Jennica and Cameron's wedding, because they incorporated a fall theme! During our planning sessions, Jennica mentioned harvest colors and pumpkins, and I knew it would be a perfect way to cap off a busy (and hot) wedding season. We didn't get quite as "fall-ish" weather as I was hoping for, but it is Texas, after all. I won't complain too much, though, because we really lucked out with the rain. There were scattered thunderstorms predicted all day. It POURED during her indoor ceremony, and stopped shortly after. None of our outdoor pictures were ruined!
I think Jennica basically bought out the fall section of Hobby Lobby to decorate their wedding, and I loved it! There were pumpkins, pinecones, leaves, wood elements, and even a few Halloween touches. The small, wood chapel at the Shelby Historic Inn was intimate and cute. Harmonie Hall, where the reception was held, was right around the corner. A friend of the bride and groom shuttled them around in a pepto-bismol pink limousine, and I couldn't resist a picture with it!
I usually like a bride and groom to eat as soon as the meal is served, to make sure they eat at all! I always have my eyes on the light, though. On this night, I saw the perfect light and knew it wouldn't last. Jennica and Cameron were good sports and came outside with me for sunset portraits before they ate, and boy was it worth the wait! We had the most lovely, dreamy sunset behind the reception hall. I always say I'm a chaser of light, and on this night, we caught it!
On to the pictures! I hope you enjoy looking at this beautiful fall wedding, and that it helps you imagine yourself drinking a PSL in a sweater soon. A Texas gal can hope, right??
Congrats Jennica and Cameron!
