Abby + Auggie // George Bush Library Engagement Session
Dec 21, 2018 | By: Mary Pena Photography
Abby and Auggie started their relationship in Middle School (swoon!) so that's where we started this session! That was definitely a first for me; shooting in a middle school gym. We had fun, climbed on the bleachers, and Auggie may or may not have dropped Abby doing a dip on the giant Lobo mascot painted on the floor. Luckily, Abby has been nothing but smiles every time I've met her, and so we all had a laugh.
Next stop was the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library for portraits with a more formal feel. I love the variety of backgrounds available at this location, from bridges to limestone to a garden. Throw in Auggie in his Army uniform, and a few pics with Abby's longtime furbaby, and it was picture perfect.
We even had a real sunset at the end, which I was not expecting because of the clouds and rain that had been hanging around all day. It was a treat to be able to grab a moody sunset shot at the end!
Congratulations on your engagement, you two. See you in 2020!
