Abigail and Augustus // Married at Brownstone Reserve

Abby and Auggie have known each other since middle school. I'm just going to open with that, because it sets the tone for how adorable this whole wedding was. When I book a couple far out from their wedding, as was the case with these two who booked me a year and a half ago, the big day already seems like the end of a long journey. But when a couple's journey starts in middle school, there's just an added level of sentimentality, because their union has been in the making for so long.
Abby and Auggie chose the Brownstone Reserve for their wedding, and had the most delightful spring colors in their accents. I actually got excited for Easter while shooting Abby's jewelry and details because of the pops of pink and purple. She chose moonstone accented jewelry which was a unique touch, and Auggie looked polished and handsome in his Army uniform.
After an outdoor ceremony with no rain (YAY!) the party kicked off in the reception hall with a choreographed first dance. Abby is an avid ballroom dancer, and she even changed into a special dress for the occassion! I give Auggie HUGE props for learning that dance, as he is not a ballroom dancer. He did fantastic, and I enjoyed getting to watch the couple and their guests dance the evening away.
Abby and Auggie, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your journey. Best wishes, you two!
