If you didn't see the most recent Century Tree Proposal I shot, you might want to check it out. It was a perfect sunny sunset for a Corps sabre arch at the tree, and a sweet gal named Ashlyn said yes to her Corps of Cadets, Aggie Wrangler fiance: Cooper! Here is the link if that peaks your interest:
Why is that relevant? Because I got to see them again to shoot their engagement portraits! I wasn't available on their wedding day to shoot, but was so grateful for the chance to get them in front of my camera one more time to capture this exciting time in their lives.
Ashlyn is about to graduate from Texas A&M, and so we started out getting a few senior portraits at the iconic Admin Building. We ran over to the Aggie Ring next, and made Cooper jump in for a few "engagement/senior mash up" photos. Then, it was on to Bush Library!
I love Bush Library as my sunset portrait spot on cloudy days. The limestone, wood bridges, and garden give you texture and color pops even on cloudy days when you don't expect the sky to show up. It was as lovely as ever, and we even had the sun peek out for about 3 minutes when we were on the south side of the pond, so I got the best of both!
Cooper and Ashlyn, I wish you all the very best for your upcoming wedding. Congratulation, you two!
