When Sydney and I were talking about locations for her engagement session, I asked her if she saw them as more of a manicured garden or a rustic wood couple. She said rustic wood, and so I knew Lick Creek Park would be the PERFECT location. I love the color of the dirt trails, the pop of wood from the bridge, and the gold color that the wheat grass has in the fall.
When Syndey and Zach arrived, I was excited to see that she had brought pumpkins with their wedding date! Their two outfits also had pops of deep orange, and so we set off with the goal of capturing portraits with a "fall feeling."
Y'all, it was amazing. It was cool and breezy, with magically no mosquitos. We were treated to the loveliest light toward the end of the session, and the sun flares were plentiful.
I dare you to look at the pictures below and not immediately wrap up in a blanket with a big mug of hot cocoa. Fall is HERE and I am rejoicing!
